Mendeola MD5-2D Transaxle

Many off-road race applications need another gear to get them up into the 100+mph range when conditions permit.  The Mendeola MD5-2D transaxle is an ideal solution for high reliability with the ratio spread you need to take home that trophy.  This picture shows you all the components that go into this transaxle (less trans gears), carefully assembled by California transaxle to your exacting needs.

bullet Foundation of the MD5 is based on the tried and proven MD4-2D
bullet All new internals are 100% CAD designed
bullet Billet shift heads and shift rails
bullet 5th and reverse gear plungers are 100% adjustable
bullet Hockey stick is heat treated and travels through linear ball bearings
bullet Straddle mounted 5th gear.  Double needle bearings in shift housing
bullet All stressed components are 100% shot peened
bullet 250HP range for race cars, 550HP range for sand applications
